Come join our team to find out the great benefits and perks of working somewhere wonderful!The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats residents with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities in a skilled nursing facility setting, using evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and maximize functional independence. The PT works as part of the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans.
Education,Certification &licensureRequirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program (bachelor's or master's degree accepted for therapists licensed before the DPT became the entry-level standard)
Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination(NPTE)
Current, unrestricted state license (or license eligibility) as a Physical Therapist; multistate practice privileges through the PT Compact are a plus in participating states
