Job Summary:

Required Qualifications: Two years of stroke/neuro experience; valid BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; passing EKG test (must be presented at time of submittal); Illinois nursing license; minimum of 2 years in neuro/stroke care.

Preferred Qualifications: Three years of neuro/stroke experience.

Floating Requirements: Yes - first to float, as needed to like units.

Weekend Requirements: Yes - every other weekend.

Additional Information: The position is open and scheduled for 24-32 hours of orientation, with 16 hours non-billable. Submission packets must include all required credentials and certifications, with a passing EKG score of 80 or above if applicable. Candidates should confirm understanding of floating responsibilities within their scope of practice and explore housing options prior to submission.
