Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a CVOR position requiring WA State or Compact RN licensure and prior CVOR experience.

Details

Surgery unit within a hospital setting

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, 0630-1900

Required to float as a sitter in rotation with other units

Call requirements include a minimum of 14 days within a 6-week schedule, including 4 weekend days (2 weekends total)

Requirements

Active WA State or Compact RN license required

CVOR experience required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice

Must function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act

Additional Information

Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards

Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans

Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments

Document care, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately

Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to changes in status

Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel

Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff per hospital policy
