Commercial Handyman
G1 Facility Services is a leading facility maintenance and construction provider, proudly serving customers nationally. We support varied industries, including Aviation, Food Services, and Hospitality. With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Commercial Handyman to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of carpentry, drywall installation, taping and spackling, painting, plumbing, electrical work, flooring, and floor and wall tile installation. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential. Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on experience), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k
Shifts: 7:00am – 3:30pm. Monday – Friday. Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, and emergencies as operational needs require.
Conduct general maintenance, carpentry, and facility repairs, including basic electrical work, painting, patching, installations, and light construction involving doors, cabinets, drywall, framing, and related building components
Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, pipe replacements, fixture installations, etc.)
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
Working knowledge of carpentry and general maintenance
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in plumbing within a commercial or industrial setting experience
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
