Ranger (Evening Shift)

The Park Ranger is a seasonal position responsible for routine manual labor and maintenance work in a variety of parks and ground functions.

The Park Ranger is responsible for enforcement of established park rules and local ordinances. They ensure a pleasant and safe park environment for all park guests; responsible for the general security of assigned park, including any necessary communication with local law enforcement agencies. They assist with general custodial and maintenance of park buildings and facilities, including, but not limited to, sweeping, trash pickup and other general groundskeeping duties as assigned. Minimum age of 18 years old.

Ability to clearly communicate procedures, problems and policies with fellow employees and the public in a tactful and courteous manner.

Ability to drive a pickup truck or utility cart.

Ability to properly and safely operate a wide variety of maintenance equipment, including, but not limited to, tractors, sweepers and different types of power mowers, lawn equipment, and hand and power tools.

the ability to work in adverse environmental, extreme weather and field conditions.

Ability to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
