Estimator

The Estimator plays a critical role in supporting the sales and engineering teams by developing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for the fabrication of custom projects. The ability to process material specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements is also necessary. The Estimator, alongside other departments, ensures that proposals are technically sound, financially viable, and aligned with company capabilities and strategic goals.

Develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for custom fabrication projects.

Process material specifications and regulatory standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Compress and Excel-based tools.
• Strong understanding of welding, rolling, machining, and finishing processes.
• The work environment is a modest shop located in Cambridge, with a small team focused on collaboration and learning.

#This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coon Rapids, MN.
