New hires are eligible for medical, dental and vision coverage upon date of hire.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for following safety rules, producing quality workmanship, and for good housekeeping in and around the work area.Plans sequence of operations, determine cutting tools to be used, method of holding, aligning work and machine speeds and feeds associated with 3 and/or 5 axis CNC machines. Responsible for own set-ups, and for inspecting own parts, including in-process inspection records.Initiate change requests to improve manufacturing processes.Work under minimal supervision while handling multiple job requirements.Assist in fabrication simple jigs & fixtures for machining process if required.Utilize technical information from a variety of sources, including, conversations with engineers, equipment operators, and other tooling personnel, electronic and conventional technical documents.Preferred Job-Related QualificationsMastercam, Fanuc Controls and Haas Equipment experience5 years of experience with emphasis on 5 Axis CNC machining.High school diploma or equivalent.A basic understanding of G&M codeCore skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge is required.Knowledge in machine shop practices and the use of respective inspection instruments used in inspecting own parts.Able to use measuring tools (rulers, micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring equipment, etc.) Must have strong mechanical aptitude/comprehension.Aerospace hardware manufacturing experience is preferred.Additional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer: Radius Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V) and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Disability Accommodation: If you are an individual with disabilities who needs accommodation or you are having difficulty using our website to apply for employment, please contact Human Resources.Cybersecurity and Compliance: All employees are required to comply with the company's cybersecurity, information security, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling policies.
