Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year A bit about us: We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Engineer to develop accurate product cost estimates, analyze manufacturing processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities. This role works cross-functionally to ensure pricing accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and support overall business performance. Full Benefits package 401K offerings Paid time off / Holidays Job Details Job Details: As a Cost Engineer, this role will be pivotal in driving the cost efficiency and financial optimization of our manufacturing processes. Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for manufacturing processes by analyzing production costs, material costs, labor costs, and overhead costs. Conduct regular cost analysis on the manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement. Collaborate with the manufacturing, procurement, and finance teams to develop accurate cost estimates for new and existing products. Participate in the budgeting process, providing input on cost-related matters and assisting in the setting of financial targets. Evaluate and compare suppliers and vendors for cost-effectiveness and quality. Use cost engineering software and tools to optimize cost estimation and analysis processes. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cost engineering role in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in quoting, manufacturing, material estimating, and cost analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and produce useful cost insights. Proficiency in cost engineering software and tools. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and analysis. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
