Serve as the 508 Compliance and Accessibility Program Manager for the Agency
Principal agency authority on Section 508 compliance matters and manages legal compliance risk on behalf of the agency.
Establish policies, processes, and programs to enable agency compliance with government laws and regulations.
Lead the 508 Compliance team to ensure their proficiency and ability to assist in managing complex agency-wide initiatives.
Expert in the development of organizational responses to real-world needs of employees and members of the public who have disabilities.
Interpret and apply Section 508 and related accessibility laws, regulations, and standards across a broad range of organizational activities and business operations, including the procurement, development, maintenance and use of technology.

To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.
