Delivery Manager

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Manager to lead our delivery operations team in Texarkana, AR. This position is responsible for managing a team of approximately 14-16 drivers and driver helpers , ensuring safe and efficient deliveries, maintaining exceptional customer service standards, and supporting day-to-day operational success.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to assist with deliveries by performing driver or driver helper duties when business needs require.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Set clear expectations for all drivers and driver helpers regarding safety, performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor driver team performance and provide coaching, training, performance feedback, and corrective action documentation when necessary.
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and customer satisfaction.
Delivery Operations

Work closely with drivers to ensure the accuracy, quality, and readiness of products being delivered to customers.
Quickly and effectively resolve delivery issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure all delivery activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
Communication & Customer Service

Maintain timely and effective communication with delivery personnel, store staff, distribution center personnel, and customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring positive customer experiences.
Fleet & Equipment Management

Determine the necessary inventory of tools, equipment, and parts required for each delivery truck.
Ensure delivery vehicles are properly stocked and equipped to support daily operations.
Oversee the return of Demountable Boxes to the Distribution Center, ensuring compliance with cargo securement requirements and quality standards.
Support daily delivery operations as needed by performing the duties of a Driver or Driver Helper.
Experience driving 26-foot box trucks .
Previous experience supervising, leading, or managing employees.
Ability to effectively manage and develop a team of 14-16 associates .
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience in delivery, transportation, logistics, warehouse, retail operations, or a related field.
Experience with delivery routing, fleet operations, and performance management.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move merchandise as required.
Ability to enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per day.
Ability to work in various weather conditions while supporting delivery operations.
Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck when required.
Competitive hourly pay of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
