Certified Medical Assistant
The Central Jersey Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center looking to hire a full time Certified Medical Assistant. Rooming patients Obtaining laboratory/radiology/ER/hospital reports prior to provider seeing patient if it pertains to visit and any records upon provider request raw blood if needed, Immunization entry (old and new) in the patient's EMR and NJIIS. Perform EKG and waived laboratory testing and enter results in EMR. Complete portion of medical forms Complete record release forms in EMR to obtain records from another office/facility. Check on medical supplies. Maintain laboratory logs of patient testing Assist the Provider and RN in facilitating patient flow. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of EHR database software.
Valid CPR National Certification in Medical Assisting (AAMA,NCCT, NHA, NRCMA).
Speak, read, write Spanish fluently.
