Depending on experience level, individuals may perform engineering calculations, prepare and review design documents, coordinate with project teams, manage tasks or projects, provide technical leadership, mentor others, and support business development activities. All team members are expected to uphold a client-centric mindset, demonstrate quality and integrity, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously learning environment.Electrical system design is no longer as simple as lighting and power design overlaid onto an architectural background. Our engineers understand that the electrical system forms the foundation that makes the building come to life. Prepares design documents, system layouts, drawings, schematics, and related documentation under the supervision of experienced engineering and design staff.Assists with engineering calculations, basic design tasks, and research on products, systems, and applicable codes.Supports the review of shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications and participates in field verification as directedMay participate in business development or pursuit activities under direct supervision and occasionally attend client, company, or industry eventsVisits job sites for observation, learning, and professional development opportunities.Develops proficiency in industry-standard software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office productsKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 1 year of relevant experience or 4 years of experience with high school diploma or equivalent is required.Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.Additional certifications and accreditations aligned with the relevant technical field (e.g., Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards.Knowledge may be applicable to a limited range of practice, project or program types.Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu preferred.Team oriented and willingness and ability to function in a highly collaborative environment, in group projects and leading less experienced designers.Ability to receive constructive feedback and adjust to coaching.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and engineering design software applicable to your discipline or focus.Commitment to accuracy and quality.Accepting applications on an ongoing basisPay Transparency:Individual salaries may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant's race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability.
