Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule: Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours per week available. 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Assignment Details: Contract Duration: 16 weeks or longer. Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week.

Requirements: Active NY RN license. AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, C-efm fetal monitoring certifications. 2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery. 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non U.S. candidates. Charting experience with EPIC, OBIX.

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed. Educate patients and their families on childbirth and postpartum care. Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures in the care of patients.

Compliance / Notes: Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. May float to mother/baby and NBN as needed.
