Position Summary, Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of food preparation including prep work, cooking and clean up, tasks ranging from opening to closing of the kitchen. Prepare and cook food to order for patrons using a variety of kitchen equipment, as well as assist with catering events. Must be able to perform duties safely and comply with Health Department standards.
Job Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age. Prior kitchen experience with short order cooking and banquet service preferred. Applicant must be energetic, capable of multi-tasking, work well independently and as a team member. Appearance must be clean, neat, and professional.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma required. Prior kitchen experience with short order cooking and banquet service preferred. Serve-Safe Certification a Plus!
Work Environment
Physical Activities Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Work Environment Work may occur in environments with poor acoustics, distractions, or high activity levels.
