Day shift, 4x10 hours, from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated OR RN to join our team for a day shift position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in the operating room, collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are in the correct position and have received appropriate preoperative medications.
Assist in the surgical procedures by handling instruments and supplies, as well as maintaining a sterile environment.
Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during and after surgery.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective care.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding the surgical process and postoperative care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Active RN license in the state.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Previous experience as an OR RN is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
