Seasonal Laborer Opportunity at Aqua New Jersey

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is looking for a full time seasonal laborer available from May through August. In this role, the primary responsibilities are performing grounds keeping, hydrant painting, assisting with cleanup and custodial needs. Cleaning and painting fire hydrants throughout an assigned territory.

Routine facility housekeeping maintenance including grounds keeping and custodial needs as assigned.

Adheres to all safety and security operating policies, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Familiarity with computers and work systems such as Microsoft office suite.

communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with customers and internal staff.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, weather permitting.

May be subject to extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, and mists.

Working conditions include travel to work sites of Essential Utilities and/or other constituents.
