RN - Labor & Delivery

This is a travel position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery. The unit has 29 beds and a staff of 20. On day shift, there is 1 charge nurse and 3-4 RNs. On night shift, there is 1 charge nurse and 2-3 RNs. Equipment includes Welch Allen vitals machines and CPN monitors. Electronic Medical Record used is Meditech/CPN. Preferred candidates will have OB experience, Med-surg experience, or GYN experience. Typical procedures performed on this unit include post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, and high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization. Nurses will also manage fetal monitoring and care for GYN oncology post-operative patients. Experience in women's health med-surg and post-partum NICU cases is beneficial.
