TIDAL HEALTH ITEMS OF NOTE:

• Local Radius: Client does not accept local candidates and has a 100-mile radius restriction.
• Call-Off Policy: Client may call off or cancel up to 12 hours per 13 week assignment.
• Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation. Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.

General job duties. Types of procedures required:
-Assesses the patient as defined by departmental policy. Assists Radiologists and is responsible for patient care duties for patient undergoing the following Radiology Interventional procedures; Arteriogram, Biopsies, holding pressure and sedation. Develops a plan of care for each patient based on current scientific knowledge, recognizing diversity, and including patient/family as appropriate. Prescribes interventions and prioritizes care as appropriate for the nurse's scope of practice. Records all relevant data for each patient according to policy. Implements the plan of care. Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of interventions modifying plan of care as appropriate.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
Epic Documentation System, Omnicell Medication Management, assorted interventional radiology equipment.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
2-5 years experience
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
MD or compact state RN license, active BLS (must be American Heart Assoc), active ACLS (must be American Heart Assoc)
Shift or schedule requirements.
Four 10 hour shifts. Call - 1 day every week, and every other weekend.

Floating to over units/departments.
Float between areas of radiology

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
4 Interventional radiology rooms doing vascular intervention, neurointervention, and body interventional radiology cases as well as doing procedures in CT, MRI, U/S, Diagnostic, etc
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.
