Physiatrist-(Weekends)

Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $41-45 per hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation

Location: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team at our SNF. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages who have medical conditions or injuries that limit their ability to move and perform daily activities. Your goal will be to help them regain function, reduce pain, and prevent further disability.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to determine the best course of treatment
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
• Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families about their condition and how to prevent future injuries
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to all healthcare and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF or similar setting
• Strong knowledge and understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
