PHARMACIST FOR HOSPITAL PART TIME

Pharmacist PositionAs a pharmacist in our Cancer Center at Rice Memorial Hospital, you will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to develop and optimize treatment plans for oncology patients. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying oncology and infusion medication orders, overseeing the preparation of chemotherapy and infusion medications by pharmacy technicians, and utilizing the electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure accuracy and compliance. The pharmacist serves as a clinical resource, providing consultation and support to providers and nurses regarding medication therapies, treatment protocols, and patient care considerations.
