Estimator - Construction Subcontractor

Estimator - Civil Construction
Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates
Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for civil construction components (earthwork, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, structures)
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness and competitiveness
Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final estimates based on project phase
Identify risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to validate assumptions and constructability
Maintain and update cost databases, historical pricing, and unit cost benchmarks

Estimator - Civil Construction
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
3-10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
~ Proven experience with projects such as:

Roadway and highway construction
Site development and grading
Utility installation (water, sewer, stormwater)
Bridges or structural concrete (preferred)

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., General knowledge of Building and Construction codes
