Certified Medication AideWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team at Emerald Care Center Claremore, a leading skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. The CMA will play a crucial role in administering medications, monitoring resident health, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all individuals under our care. Responsibilities:Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders. Resident Monitoring: Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and any adverse reactions to medications. Communicate observations and concerns to the nursing staff and assist with any necessary follow-up actions.Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area. Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for residents.Resident Support: Provide compassionate and respectful assistance to residents, addressing their needs and preferences while fostering a supportive and empathetic atmosphere.Communication: Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure that residents' needs are met. Communicate effectively with residents' families regarding medication-related concerns and changes in health status.Documentation: Accurately complete all required documentation, including medication administration records, resident health observations, and incident reports. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
