Job Summary: The Physical Therapist I serves as a primary clinician, providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and education to patients with various medical conditions. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, setting measurable patient goals, and ensuring high-quality care in alignment with established standards.

Conducts comprehensive evaluations, testing, and treatment for patients with multiple medical conditions.

Recommends appropriate equipment for patient care.

Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Collaborates with care teams and community resources for post‑discharge planning and follow‑up.

Plans treatment schedules for optimal staff and equipment use.

Maintains productivity while adhering to quality standards.

Monitors and ensures compliance with infection control and sterile technique protocols.

Documents patient care details and records service charges accurately.

Manages inventory, equipment maintenance, and work area organization.

Adheres to all applicable policies, protocols, and regulations.

Graduation from a Physical Therapy Program accredited by CAPTE.

Experience: Less than one year of clinical experience as a physical therapist.

A valid, unencumbered Physical Therapist License approved by Georgia Board of Physical Therapy.

0‑33% of the workday (infrequently) Lifting 25 lbs. max; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
