Registered Nurse - Acute Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a 32-bed acute care unit that serves an adult and older adult population. The unit specializes in trauma patient care, administering Heparin drips, and all acute medications as ordered.

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.

Utilize specialty equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.

Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.

Must have documented experience in medical telemetry.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC.

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation experience is a plus, with prior NICHE training preferred.
