Administrative Assistant
Location: Detroit, MI (Downtown) Full-Time, Onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional and proactive Administrative Assistant to support executive leadership within a fast-paced corporate environment. This role will report directly to the Chief of Staff while providing day-to-day administrative support to the President of the company. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism. This position offers strong growth potential into an Executive Assistant role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex and frequently changing executive calendars and schedules
Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones
Prepare meeting agendas, materials, presentations, and logistical arrangements
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, visas, and travel documentation
Create detailed travel itineraries and proactively manage schedule changes or travel disruptions
Track travel expenses and assist with expense reporting and reimbursements
Draft, proofread, and edit professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Support special projects, event coordination, and additional administrative tasks as needed
Assist with occasional personal errands and executive support responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar support role
- Proven experience supporting executives in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience managing executive calendars and coordinating meetings across multiple time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate needs
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
Familiarity with travel booking platforms and expense management systems
Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel arrangements
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision
