This role is responsible for daily operations in the warehouse by helping maintain the warehouse, accepting daily deliveries, processing those deliveries for storage and shipment, packaging amalgam separators for shipment with accurate and appropriate labelling as needed, and assisting with the preparation and loading of FTL (Full Truck Load) and ISO (intermodal) containers for transport. This role is directly involved in all phases of the warehouse operations including customer service, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Perform warehouse operations including local deliveries, inventory management, order entry, and vendor shipping/receiving
Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customers
Complete one or more warehouse functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders)
Take inventory; document and invoice orders and product movement
Provide maintenance to warehouse as directed by Operations Manager
High school diploma or GED
Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Forklift Certification preferred (will provide training)
This is an entry level position. 2+ years in warehouse environment or customer service preferred
Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekend work when needed
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs loading and unloading products
Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
Hourly: $18.00 - $25.00
Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
