This role is ideal for commissioned notaries in Indiana who want flexible, well paid work. You will handle real estate loan signings including refinances, purchase closings, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, and seller packages for clients in Cedar Lake and the surrounding communities. Conduct mobile and remote notarization of mortgage loan documents for clients in Cedar Lake and surrounding areas.
Accurately complete notarial certificates and keep a complete notary journal and log.
Return signed loan packages to the lender, title, or escrow company by the required deadline.
Ensure compliance with Indiana and federal notary laws and regulations.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive borrower documents.
Provide exceptional customer service and professional communication with borrowers and clients.
S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Active Notary Public commission in your state of residence.
Proficient with remote notarization platforms and technology.
Knowledge of mortgage documents and loan signing terminology.
Familiarity with state and federal notary laws and regulations.
