Contract Length: 13 weeks
We are an 18 bed oncology unit. Our patient population is primarily straight oncology patients. We also administer inpatient chemotherapy, although the agency RN would not be chemo competent, therefore would not be administering chemotherapy. We do also take inpatient hospice patients. On the night shift, our nurses take 5-6 patients and have 1-2 PCTs on the floor to support the nurses.
Provide patient care for an assigned group of straight oncology patients.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Participate in the care of inpatient hospice patients.
At least 2 years of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
