Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is effectively implemented. This role includes supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Embracing the core values of safety and teamwork is essential to providing the highest standard of care.

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.

Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record accurately and timely.

Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.

Communicate any changes in patient status to the relevant care providers to ensure continuity of care.

Provide direction, training, and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel.

Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Actively contribute to a positive and efficient working environment on the unit.

BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.

ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (specific to CIRH).

ICU experience required.
