Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Kennewick, WA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Two weekend shifts are required within a two-week pay period.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a Med Surg setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, performing patient assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

At least 2 years of nursing experience in a Med Surg setting.
Current RN license in the state of Washington.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience with EKG/Cardiac Monitoring and medication titration preferred.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), specifically Paragon (McKesson), is a plus.
