Respiratory Therapist Night Shift (PT)

Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric and NICU
This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, working 3 shifts per week.
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care. The therapist will float between pediatric units and NICU and may occasionally float to adult units on the main campus. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in various respiratory care procedures and patient management techniques.
Responsibilities:

Perform blood gas analysis and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.
Provide respiratory care during code responses and in-house transports.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Conduct chest physiotherapy (PT) and assist with intubations.
Manage tracheostomy care and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Active New Jersey License is required.
Certifications: BLS and NBRC required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be obtained onsite.
