Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring dysrhythmia management and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.
Details
Work in the Cardiac Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
Care for cardiac and CVA patient populations
Patient ratio of 1:4-5
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
EPIC EMR experience required
Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
No block schedule requests permitted
Requirements
Active Washington (WA) or compact RN license required in hand
Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
EPIC charting experience required
Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with Rapid Response/Code Teams
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Additional Information
Monitor and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond via Rapid Response/Code Teams as needed
Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers
Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, and must be disclosed at time of consideration
RTO requests cannot be modified after initial submission
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
Travel pairs accepted
Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
First-time travelers may be considered for this role
