Comer & Cross is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the company’s accounts payable process, purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and corporate expense management. This individual will play a key role in ensuring invoices are processed accurately, purchases follow company policies, and vendors are paid timely while helping improve financial controls and operational efficiency.

Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.

Administer the Ramp corporate card and expense management platform, including expense report review, card reconciliations, and user support.

Create and manage purchase orders while ensuring purchases comply with company approval policies.

Maintain strong vendor relationships by resolving billing issues, monitoring pricing, and supporting contract and payment term negotiations.

Track vendor pricing, credits, rebates, and purchasing trends to help improve cost control and purchasing efficiency.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls:

Maintain and improve AP, procurement, and expense management processes to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, approval workflows, and documentation requirements.

Partner with accounting and operations to identify process improvements and support special projects.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, procurement, purchasing, or accounting.

Experience with QuickBooks Online , Ramp (or similar expense management software), Microsoft Excel, and purchase order systems preferred.

Purchasing activities follow company policies and support cost-effective vendor management.

Ramp, AP, and procurement processes are well organized, compliant, and contribute to an efficient month-end close.
