Electroplater - 2nd Shift

Chrome PlaterWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chrome Plater to join a local company in Toledo, OH. This role is responsible for applying a flash chrome coating to metal components to improve appearance, corrosion resistance, and surface durability. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. All employees are offered competitive compensation ($18/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Eligible for monthly production bonuses.Available shifts: Work 40-50 hours, weekly 1st shift (7:30AM to 4PM) 2nd shift (3:30PM to 12midnight)Position Responsibilities:Monitor chemical baths and plating solutions to ensure proper concentrations and performance.Set up, operate, and adjust plating equipment according to production requirements.Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.Inspect finished parts for quality, appearance, and adherence to specifications.Identify and report quality issues or process concerns to supervisors.Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations.Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer specifications and company standards.Follow safety and quality procedures to ensure proper handling and processing of parts.Requirements and Qualifications:Must have 3 plus years at each previous employersComfortable with working in a manufacturing environment.Previous experience as an auto mechanic or in a hands-on mechanical role is preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools, equipment, and troubleshooting processes.Prior manufacturing or plating experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.Willingness to learnAbout Cardinal Staffing At Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
