Head of Real Estate Finance (m/w/d)

Our SelectLeaders client is a privately owned real estate investment and operating company with a long-term ownership philosophy and an entrepreneurial approach to growth. The company owns and manages a diverse portfolio consisting of approximately 2,750 multifamily units and 300,000 square feet of commercial real estate across California, Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona.

This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys operating beyond the confines of a traditional corporate structure and wants to play an active role in shaping the financial strategy of a growing real estate platform.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's debt portfolio, supporting capital markets initiatives, and providing financial analysis that informs key business decisions. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to manage lender relationships, evaluate refinancing opportunities, monitor loan maturities, and help optimize the company's capital structure. Coordinate with lenders, brokers, and financial institutions
Analyze portfolio performance and provide financing recommendations
Assist with financing activities related to acquired or foreclosed properties
Prepare financial presentations and reports for executive leadership
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, or related field
5-7+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, debt management, lending, capital markets, or financial analysis
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Understanding of debt markets, interest rates, and commercial lending practices
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working within a family office, private investment firm, owner-operator, or entrepreneurial real estate organization.
