The Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality food that delights our guests on every visit. This role requires consistency, speed, and a genuine commitment to food quality across every station, every shift. Whether you're on grill, fry, pantry, or prep, you bring the same level of care and execution every time. This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work extended hours during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.
Preparing and cooking menu items to Topgolf recipes and standards across all assigned stations Grill, Fry, Pantry, Prep, Flattop, and Saut
Executing prep lists completely and on time so the kitchen is fully stocked and ready before service begins
Plating and presenting food to Topgolf's standards on every dish same quality, same presentation, every time
Keeping your station stocked, organized, and ready throughout prep and all the way through service
Following recipes exactly and maintaining consistent food quality and portion accuracy at every station
Storing ingredients properly to prevent spoilage and minimize waste, following all food safety guidelines
Arranging prepared food in designated areas for retrieval by serving staff accurately and on time
Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining your work areas, surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout and after each shift
Operating all kitchen equipment properly, safely, and reporting any maintenance concerns to the Chef team promptly
Following all food handling, storage, and safety standards in compliance with local health and safety regulations

Recovering quickly when things go sideways and helping the team do the same
Managing the heat literally and figuratively without letting pressure affect the quality of your work
Showing up with the same energy and effort at the start of a shift as at the end, because the guest experience doesn't change
Communicating clearly with fellow cooks and the front-of-house team to keep tickets moving and service on track
Flagging food quality issues, equipment concerns, or supply shortages to the Chef team promptly and directly
Contributing to a kitchen environment where teamwork is the standard and everyone is set up to succeed
Having a customer focus
Holding yourself accountable for food quality, presentation, and consistency on every single dish
Anticipating what the station needs before service and prepping accordingly so there are no gaps when it gets busy
Understanding that the guest experience starts in the kitchen and taking pride in being the reason it's great
Always looking for ways to improve personal technique, speed, and consistency and acting on it
Executing with urgency and precision every shift because the standard doesn't take a night off
Holding yourself to high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and execution on every ticket, every shift
Completing prep, maintaining station readiness, and executing service with a sense of personal ownership and urgency
Taking pride in a kitchen that runs well, looks clean, and puts out great food consistently

Experience in a kitchen environment; high-volume or restaurant experience preferred
Ability to work multiple stations and follow recipe and food safety standards consistently
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older as required by state or local law
Ability to remain on your feet and in motion for extended periods throughout the shift, including standing, walking, and navigating a fast-paced kitchen environment; this role operates in a high-volume kitchen and requires sustained physical stamina throughout the duration of each shift
Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance, including food products, equipment, supplies, and delivery transport across multiple levels of the venue
Ability to navigate stairs, ramps, and multi-level areas of the venue when transporting food, coordinating events, or overseeing service delivery
Ability to work in varying temperature environments on a frequent basis, including hot kitchen conditions, walk-in coolers, and freezers
Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions including cutting, stirring, lifting, and operating kitchen equipment throughout the shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining focus, food safety standards, and quality under pressure
