Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or similar specialty
