IT SysAdmin

AeroVironment

The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You’ll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.

Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.

Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.

Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.

Support vulnerability management using Nessus.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computuer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience

Strong RedHat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.

Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.

Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
