As Director Human Resource Services, you will serve as the HR Services leader and strategic advisor to Institute, Division, and Hospital leadership, aligning human resources strategies with operational and workforce needs. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of business priorities and workforce challenges, translating them into effective HR strategies and solutions. You will collaborate with Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COEs) to address organizational needs while balancing the priorities of the business, organization, and HR. In collaboration with Institute/Division/Hospital Leadership, create and ensure ongoing review of the HR strategic plan aligned to business goals and workforce planning needs of the area.Build and maintain relationships and partner with HR COEs to drive the Institute/Division/Hospital’s HR strategic plan and other HR initiatives, which may include workforce planning, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, workplace wellness, learning & engagement, HRIS & analytics and HR communications.Direct and oversee the work of HR Services employees.Identify opportunities, make recommendations and drive process improvement.Understand, use, and interpret HR and business metrics to identify trends, problem solve and influence change.Provide structure and guidance for leadership development strategies within the organization.View as a trusted and strategic advisor to the Institute/Division/Hospital executive team regarding key organizational and HR issues.Serve as a coach in efforts related to change management, engagement, team effectiveness, and leadership development.Investigate complex employee complaints and make recommendations to senior leaders.Navigate difficult discussions and complex situations to assist leadership with assessing performance deficiencies and developing plans to address.Assess risk to organization for all issues related to employees and HR matters and offers sound recommendations to address.annual performance reviews, merit, engagement, compliance, flu, etc.) and regulatory compliance.Maintain regulatory knowledge and expertise. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.Oversee collective bargaining agreement and relationship, contract interpretation, and contract negotiations, if applicable.Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field8 years of progressive, related Human Resources experience inclusive of three years of management experience and/or experience coaching and mentoring leadersStrong communications skills (verbal and written), group facilitation and presentation skillsAnalytical skills in talent management, workforce planning, and HR strategyAbility to analyze and apply data measures, performance and outcomesAbility to build relationships at all levels of the organizationProficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)In depth knowledge of employment and labor laws (FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, NLRA, etc.)Master's DegreeHuman Resources certification (Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP))Healthcare experienceDemonstrated experience managing large teams (preferably within healthcare or large-scale service environments).Evidence of strategic thought leadership, data-driven decision-makingAbility to operate as a true HR business partnerSkilled in non-union environmentsProven track record in building high-performance HR teams and driving engagement among direct and indirect reportsPhysical Requirements:Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site.Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $101,900.00Maximum Annual Salary: $155,390.00The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. shift differentials, overtime, etc.). healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).Job ID: 352187Employment Type: 8:00am-5:00pmJob Area: Administrative and Business ProfessionalsPosted Date: 11/09/2026
