Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for rubber manufacturing operations.

Coordinate production priorities based on customer demand, lead times, labor availability, and machine capacity.

Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as needed to minimize downtime and late orders.

Work closely with operations leadership to balance throughput, inventory, and service levels.

Purchase raw materials, packaging, and production‑related supplies to support operational requirements.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.

Track supplier lead times, delivery performance, and material shortages.

Assist with inventory analysis, cycle counts, and material accuracy initiatives.

Maintain accurate planning, purchasing, and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems.

Generate and analyze reports related to inventory, production schedules, shortages, and supplier performance.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes and inventory control.

Communicate effectively with production, warehouse, customer service, and suppliers to ensure alignment on priorities.

Support problem‑solving efforts related to material shortages, schedule changes, and production constraints.

Participate in operations meetings and assist with capacity and demand planning activities.

Position Requirements

Preferred 10+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, purchasing, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.

Experience in rubber manufacturing or related industrial manufacturing environment preferred.

Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management principles.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.

Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred but not required based on experience.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing operations.

Familiarity with production scheduling in a make‑to‑order or mixed‑mode manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of raw material planning and supplier coordination.

Continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and process discipline.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods (up to 80% of shift).

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Work performed in both office and manufacturing settings.

Exposure to high noise levels, non‑climate‑controlled areas, and non‑toxic fumes at times.

Compensation $60,000 - $80,000
