Warehouse Associate (Summer)Applylocations: Loxley, Alabamatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 7 Days Agojob requisition id: REQ52294**Job Purpose:** The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.**Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock • Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers • Assist customers with orders, as needed • Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items • Operate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility • Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs • Participate in after-hours training classes • May be asked to participate in on-call duties, as needed • Work overtime as assigned • Work cooperatively with others • Comply with all company policies and procedures • Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendanceWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; lay on the floor; If requested, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship or direct threat.**Qualifications:** • High School Diploma or equivalent • 1 year of forklift experience preferred • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred • 1 year of customer service experience preferred • Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred**Travel Requirement:** • 0% travel that would require overnight stay**Other:** This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions that the employee may be required to perform, and additional duties may be assigned.
