Parts Clerk / Parts Administrator
South Plainfield, NJ Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Clerk/Parts Administrator to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ. This position is responsible for managing parts returns, tracking vendor backorders, processing invoices and credits, and assisting customers with parts-related inquiries. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:

Process and track parts returns with vendors.
Manage vendor backorders and follow up on outstanding orders.
Review and process vendor invoices and credits related to parts purchases and returns.
Assist customers with parts inquiries, requests, and order updates.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer systems to track inventory, orders, and transactions.
Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
Identify issues and take initiative to resolve them promptly.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in parts administration, inventory, purchasing, customer service, or a related role preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and general computer proficiency.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
