Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulation RN to join a fast-paced outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process, and working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced travel nurse seeking a stable day-shift assignment in an ambulatory surgery environment.

Active RN License

Previous travel nursing experience required

Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care as the circulating nurse.

Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.

Verify patient identification, surgical procedures, and informed consent documentation.

Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff throughout procedures.

Monitor patient status and advocate for patient safety during surgery.

Accurately document patient care and surgical events according to facility standards.

Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.

Ability to move and handle equipment and objects weighing 20+ pounds.

Exposure to patients with potentially contagious illnesses in a healthcare environment.

Must be able to work the full assigned contract duration

Must be able to work the majority of assigned shifts as scheduled

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and take call if required by facility needs
