Estimator - Work from Home

Kforce is working with a growing manufacturer in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan (MI) area that is looking to add a Senior Cost Analyst for their Manufacturing Operations to join their finance team.
This role partners closely with Operations and Cost Accounting to drive financial performance across manufacturing. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate costs, ROI, and operational initiatives
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and corrective actions
- Lead manufacturing budgeting and forecasting (volume, labor, material, overhead)
- Prepare executive and Board-level reporting packages
- Perform variance analysis vs. Support capital investments, pricing decisions, and headcount planning
- Partner with Cost Accounting on standard costs, variances, inventory valuation, and absorption
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and financial metrics for leadership
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting tools, and system automation (ERP/BI/planning tools)
- 3-5+ years of FP&A/financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing and cost accounting background required
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, ERP and BI tools
- Strong business partnership and communication skills
- Note you must live in West MI as this role is fully onsite with one day working from home.
