Temp - Phlebotomist - LAB

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Columbia, SC.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Process billing information and collect payments.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification, completion of a training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
