Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our amazing Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit (STC-5). The #1 city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule: Full Time – Days and Nights available - 36 hours per week.
Unit Summary: This 36-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from Adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service for STC-5 include but are not limited to the following:

Wide variety of Medical Diagnosis, most patients we see come from the ICU, especially the MICU
Patients with impaired respiratory status
Patients requiring wound and skin care
Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath insertion, pacemaker and collection of specimens
Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
Patients with GI abnormalities
Bi-Pap machines (external vent)

Active RN License
Minimum of 6 Months of RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license.
