Graduate Nurse - MedSurg

The role involves coordinating the delivery of high-quality nursing care across various patient populations, from birth through the lifecycle, and managing operational issues during shifts.

Responsibilities include providing clinical care as needed, communicating patient and departmental concerns to leadership, and serving as a resource for staff guidance.

Qualifications include a graduate from an accredited nursing program (bachelor's preferred), at least one year of hospital nursing experience, and active RN licensure with additional certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and specialty-specific credentials.

Candidates must meet ongoing certification requirements within specified timeframes, including NRP, AWHONN fetal monitoring, PEARS, and others based on unit specialization.

Additional duties encompass analyzing patient data, developing individualized care plans, implementing and evaluating care, promoting safety, and practicing ethically within a diverse environment.

Leadership, collaboration, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development are essential components of the role.
