Petroleum Landman

Overview Probus Energy Services LLC is looking for a skilled Contract Title Landman. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in title research, demonstrate proficiency in calculating mineral and leasehold interests, and maintain a detail-oriented approach to reviewing the public records.
Responsibilities Accurately calculate and confirm mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, and working interests.
Analyze and interpret legal documents, including deeds, leases, and contracts.
Prepare ownership reports, title runsheets, and calculations.
Review title and ownership records to identify inconsistencies and suggest corrective measures.
Present audit findings in a clear and professional manner to both internal teams and external clients.
Keep detailed and well-organized records of ownership verification.
Operate independently while adhering to defined procedures and quality standards.
Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Landman or in a comparable role within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of mineral and leasehold ownership, as well as title analysis.
Skilled in preparing title runsheets and mineral ownership reports.
Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in interpreting legal descriptions, title opinions, and conveyance documents.
This is an in-office role.
Preferred Qualifications Degree in Energy Management/Commerceills
