Mammographer - Radiology Mammography

Role Summary The Mammography Technologist performs mammography procedures under the guidance of Radiologists and the Radiology Director, ensuring compliance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, and state regulations.

They operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain quality assurance, ensure regulatory adherence, and prepare survey documentation.

The role requires delivering expert patient care across diverse demographics and performing additional duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited A.R.R.T. program with documented mammography training.

At least one year of mammography experience and preferred diagnostic radiology experience.

Current ARRT registration and mammography certification (ARRT-M).

Licensed as a radiologic technologist by SCRQSA.

CPR certification required.

Strong technical skills, initiative, sound judgment, and ability to follow established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Perform mammography procedures accurately and efficiently.

Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Ensure patient care tailored to all demographics.

Assist in survey preparations and competency assessments.
