You will practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Join our close-knit team of 28 physicians and 9 APPs at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.

Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.

Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Our emergency department provides 90 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage daily.

Responsibilities

Provide top-quality patient care to MUMC, Effingham Health System, and 2 new FSED’s opening in 2027!

Foster collaboration and support among team members.

Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus.

Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

Compensation

Hourly W2 compensation.

Qualifications

Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine.

Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia.
